Welcome to Nagpur – “second capital” of Maharashtra state, means some administrative functions are carried out here, and winter sessions of the Legislative Assembly in a year occur here. The city was founded in 1703 by the Gonds King Bakht Buland Shah of Deogarh and later became a part of the Maratha Empire under the Bhosale dynasty.
